In Time of Need – The Lord Our Refuge
Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
The Lord is my strength and my shield: my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. Psalms 28:6
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God for the pulling down of strong holds.
No weapon formed against me shall prosper. No weapon, no tactic used against me shall prosper, but the Lord shall expose it, strengthen me in the battle to defeat the works of the enemy. To cast down the wisdom of this world and the ungodly. The Lord shall enable me to raise up a standard, to hold onto the Truth. The truth in God’s word is my strength,
My stronghold, my tower, my place of refuge. I shall battle against the attacks of the enemy with the Words of Life, Words of Promise, Words filled with the Goodness of God.
Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth, shall make you free. He who the Son sets free is free indeed. The Lord enables us to be Sons defenders of the Truth, enables us to set others free, who are help captive against their own wills. These words of life that the Lord has given us will penetrate into the Heart of our loved ones and associates. These words will bring healing and deliverance, bring a soundness of mind, loose them from the bondage of fear and intimidation.
Every tongue that rises up against me shall be condemned. Greater is He that is in me then he that is in this world. Great is Our God! I have believed, for the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Lord enables us to remove the strong holds of the enemy, enable us empower us to tear down the high place of the enemy (ungodly). The false places of refuge, the deceptive ways, the carnal thinking that has penetrated our lives and the lives of our loved ones.
You Lord are our Rock, our Strong Hold, and our Refuge, our place of Safety.
